CHAPTER ONE
“You’re still a spoiled brat. You know that, right?”
Serena jammed her fists on her hips. “I don’t care what you say, Roman Steele. I’m going.”
“And you wonder why I say you’re spoiled?”
“I am not. I’m my own woman. You’re just mad because I’m not the wimpy, subservient type.”
Roman heaved an exasperated sigh. “It has nothing to do with being wimpy or subservient. You’re a married woman now, Serena. It’s time you started acting like it.”
“Hmph.” She folded her arms across her chest and scowled at her husband. He had a point. A good one, at that. Still, there was no way she would give in and be reasonable. This was too important...
